About County Antrim
County Antrim is the most popular holiday destination of Northern Ireland. The capital city of Belfast is very popular with it's many shops, bars and restaurants. The north coast of Antrim is home to the famouns Giant's Causway, Causway Coast, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge , Glen's of Antrim and Carrickfergus Castle.
The coastal drive from Larne northwards, veering west past the historic Giant’s Causeway, near Bushmills towards N.Ireland’s premier resort Portrush, follows almost 65 miles of the most beautiful, stunning scenery you could imagine.
From Ballycastle, through all the sleepy villages of Carnlough, Cushendall, Cushendun, the road runs under bridges and arches, passing bays, beautiful sandy and shingle beaches, harbours and peculiar rock formations.
As you enter the village of Ballintoy you can catch a glimpse of Rathlin Island, which is only a short boat trip away.
